Where we started

Two decades on the factory floor

What began as a small stitching unit turned into a full production facility built around one goal: protective gear a beekeeper can trust, made at a price a wholesaler can work with.

The first workshop

Golden Hive Gears opened as a small cut-and-sew unit producing cotton bee suits for local apiarists, working with three tailors and one cutting table.

First export order

A bulk order from an overseas beekeeping cooperative pushed the workshop to formalize its process — grading patterns, standardizing stitching, and sourcing mesh fabric at scale.

Full production facility

The workshop expanded into a dedicated facility with separate lines for suits, jackets, gloves and veils, along with an in-house quality control team.

Wholesale, worldwide

Today the factory ships finished gear and private-label orders to distributors and retailers across North America, Europe and the Gulf, backed by a dedicated export team.

Every piece is cut, stitched and inspected in-house, so specification changes for private-label and bulk orders happen on the same floor — not through a third-party subcontractor.

3-layer ventilated suits

Mesh-panel construction for hot-climate beekeeping and commercial apiaries.

Cotton bee suits

Lightweight woven cotton suits with round veil or fencing-style hood options.

Bee jackets

Upper-body protection for shorter hive inspections and warmer regions.

Leather gloves

Sting-resistant gauntlet gloves in cowhide and goatskin, cut in-house.

Veils & hoods

Round, square and fencing veils sold standalone or bundled with suits.
